Slabs and tiles by BE&TON arise from concrete class minimum C30 / 37. We use a mixture of cement, aggregates, reinforcing glass fibers in the form of alkali-resistant as well as mineral and chemical admixtures to improve the properties of the concrete mix and hardened concrete. The composition and production technology of architectural concrete has been developed by experienced technology staff with an expertise in the concrete industry and adhesives binding. The surface and the slabs and tile is raw, with characteristic imperfections. Therefore, each piece is unique and unrepeatable, but as a whole, forms a coherent composition. Thus, on the surface of our slabs and tiles, you will see air bubbles and crayfish, and due to differences batches of cement used in production, aggregates and mineral additives, are also possible discolorations and color variations which, as a manufacturer, we have no influence on. It’s natural qualities of concrete, characteristic of this composite and do not constitute grounds for complaint. Due to shrinkage of concrete during aging, wetting and drying cycles, are also possible deviations from the plane form of network, but they should not exceed the values ​​given in the Declaration of Utility Values of ​​ BE&TON products. The concrete mixture used in the production is being stabilized by gradually hardening and being under the impact of weather conditions, therefore differences in color should be equilzed with time . Therefore, if you expect a homogeneous product, with no differences in shades and color changes, perhaps you should consider the use of other material.

Characteristics of material – reservations

Architectural concrete GRC is a raw material. Its possible shortcomings, not only is not a defect but are desired, the intended effect. Air bubbles (cancers) are typical for concrete, and will present in a different number, size, frequency and position. On the surface of the concrete Streaks, discoloration and differences in color and smoothness are possible. Concrete’s color and aesthetics is influenced by many factors, such as humidity, temperature, origin of cement, chemical admixtures, additives and mineral aggregates used in production. The color may also vary depending on the weather conditions (temperature, humidity) during the storage and installation. Therefore, there may be significant differences in color between different production batches and between the products in the same batch. Features described above are characteristic for composite material and their occurrence is deliberately intensified in the production proces. These properties do not constitute grounds for complaint. To keep unified color of products placed in one area, you should take into account the above information at the moment of planning and ordering our products. By placing an order, the buyer / distributor at the same time declares that he is familiar with the characteristics of architectural concrete by BE&TON, including those mentioned above and accepts them. Also acknowledges and accepts the possibility of color differences, aesthetic and visual in relation to marketing materials, photographs, visualization and samples.

Transportation and storage

BE&TON slabs for transportation are arranged on pallets and stapled strips, no more than 20 pcs. per pallet. Care and Maintenance

Impregnation
